Maps of Encamp city:
Andorra – short description:
Andorra is famous for its ski and Spa resorts, Les Escaldes-Engordany being one of the most popular site; here one can soak in the natural hot springs as well as visit the area’s Romanesque architecture.
The Soldeu is the main skiing center as well as Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig near the French border or the Ordino-Arcalis and Arinsal-Pal, north of Andorra la Vella.
Hiking, rock climbing, horse riding, cycling and trout fishing are also popular outdoor activities that can be enjoyed surrounded by the beautiful scenery Andorra’s countryside and mountains offer.
Do not miss the amazing views from the village of El Serrat or the medieval town of Encamp and of course Andorra la Vella, the capital, which lies at the intersection of two mountain streams, offering picturesque 12th century architecture. Andorra is also well-known for its shopping bargains, where tourists can expect to pay up to 30 percent less than elsewhere.
The climate is warm in summer and cold in winter, with abundant rainfall and snow in winter.
